AMAZING THINGS HAPPEN WHEN YOU TRI.
My family, like too many, has been touched in many ways by cancer. My father-in-law and aunt are strong survivors, and my brother-in-law Martin and niece Jesse have both been battling the disease in the past year. It’s their brave determination to battle their cancers (and the strength of their families) that is driving me to attempt my first triathlon to raise money for cancer research.
The Princess Margaret hospital does incredible work, and I feel blessed to live in a place that supports their life-saving research. Talking to the doctors and researchers there has made me believe that we can beat cancer in our lifetime. How cool would that be?
