On Sunday, May 6th I am participating in the Run to Conquer Cancer to raise funds for Myeloma research at The Princess Margaret in association with The Goodlife Fitness Toronto Marathon.
Along with Sean, our small but determined team, "Team Luscombe" (named for my father, Don, who has been battling Multiple Myeloma since 2010) will be out in force. I will be doing the half marathon (HALF MARATHON!?! What am I nuts??) and Sean the 5K .
And although I've never run more than a 10K race, I think that struggling through 13+ miles is really nothing compared with my father's struggle.
Here's where you can make a difference! Even in the last year progress has been made. Your donation really will contribute to change. Support me in my walk, and your donation will go directly towards Myeloma research at The Princess Margaret Hospital.
