Heh!  
We've started to put together a team to participate in the 5K Your Way Walk/Run to raise funds for the:Ian Lawson Van Toch Cancer Informatics Fundat Princess Margaret Hospital. This event is part of the GoodLife Fitness Toronto Marathon and we're running 5K for our dearly missed friend, Ian.   We're doing this because we had the great fortune to have had him in our lives...to laugh with him and share some incredible moments - and in turn, created some wonderful and unforgettable times.  

We've all talked about how he lived his life fully and how he enthusiastically embraced the opportunity of being on a team that would one day cure cancer.  Now we have an opportunity to help him do that.  How great is that?!   We're running not just to keep his memory alive but bring his dream to life.  To date, we have Jenn Clarke, Murilo (Mojo) Guimares, Sacha Robinson and Erika Scholz on TEAM IAN!.


Why are we doing this?  We're running for every young scientist who dreams as large as Ian.  And for everyone who joins our team, we're asking you to raise $500. each.  Or help us reach a goal we cant even begin to imagine!  The power of commitment and love is very big!  We are also incredibly motivated by Ian's mom who has committed to running the half marathon to raise money for Ian's fund - and now it's our chance to give back.  So come on!  Let's do it?  You in?  GREAT!  Let's raise a lot of money and celebrate our friend's life.  Ian helped celebrate ours in so many ways...
