Support Annie's Journey
I am participating in the Journey to Conquer Cancer- Run or Walk and raising funds for the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre on Sunday June 18, 2017.
This will be my seventh year of participation, in memory and honour of my beloved daughter, Lindsay. Sadly, Lindsay passed away on November 4, 2011 at the young age of 26 from pancreatic cancer after a more than 5 years courageous battle with the disease. Lindsay never let this deadly disease define her. She was in total control and lived her life to the fullest.
Lindsay fought "The Good Fight". She became a strong advocate for the fight against pancreatic cancer by leading our team to participate in the 2011 5K Run or Walk to Conquer Cancer event to raise funds. She also created an inspirational Blog on the Pancreatic Cancer Canada website under the pseudonym of "Carrie Ng Grace" which touched and helped a lot of people. I encourage you to read Lindsay's Blog and be inspired:
With your help, we can continue Lindsay's wishes and legacy by raising much needed funds for ground breaking research at The Princess Margaret to fight against the very deadly but extremely underfunded pancreatic cancer. I am walking to benefit those currently fighting and be a part of a movement to save lives.
As one of the top 5 comprehensive cancer research centres in the world, The Princess Margaret is developing innovative cancer therapies that are changing cancer care for patients in Canada and around the world.
Thankyou so much for your support and with your help, we will CONQUER CANCER IN OUR LIFETIME!
