In 2011 I lost a nut. I was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer. I was told, “At least you got the best cancer a man can get”. Cancer is cancer, but I guess I was a lot more fortunate than many. That bad seed was taken out and that was pretty much that, but I am still fighting, it’s just for other people.
In 2012 I rode from Calgary to Lewiston, Maine to help support Wellspring centres in Alberta, and this year I am participating in the 2nd annual Northern Pass to benefit the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre (where I had 4 years of oncology checkups). I am raising research dollars, and I need everyone’s help.
Cancer sucks! So lets beat it!
I will be doing this ride alongside two great co-workers, Sean and Brody. We are looking forward to the 160km ride around Muskoka. Beating cancer is a team effort, so I am happy to have this crew.

The Princess Margaret is one of the top 5 cancer research centres in the world - when they train scientists and researchers at The Princess Margaret, they share and train colleagues all over the world.
I want to raise as much money as possible, so I am just going to keep bumping up my goal. Any amount can make a difference!
