Last year we created a multi-generational team comprised of 12 riders ranging in age from an 18 year old grandson to our Mom at age 70. What we did not realize when we first signed up for the event was how uplifting an experience it would prove to be for all of us...our Mom and Dad of course?,but also the kids and grandkids and many friends near and far who felt so eager to show their love and support while donating to such an important cause. The Northern Pass has become an important event in our summer holiday plans. We train together, fundraise together and ride together, and in two years Team “Caer for the Cure” named after our beloved cottage “Caerholme” has raised over $60,000 that has gone directly to the GI Clinic at PMH. The training, the sense of accomplishment and the feeling that we are all doing something meaningful to help fight this disease has brought us joy, strength and courage as we navigate our new reality of living with cancer. The Northern Pass has become of the highlight of our summer and we look forward to participating this coming year and for years to come.
Thank you for supporting our team and for sharing our vision - to Conquer Cancer in our Lifetime
